Job Description

Overview

Nuna Group of Companies is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Multi Operators for large earthworks construction and mining projects. This role involves operating various heavy machinery while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining effective communication within the team. The position offers a rotation schedule of 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off, with travel and accommodations covered.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.
  • Maintain equipment in good operating condition and log maintenance requirements or concerns.
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
  • Operate heavy equipment as required while following safety protocols.

Required skills

  • Experience operating Loaders, Dozers, Excavators, and Graders
  • Experience in road building, mining, or industrial settings
  • Ability to work rotational schedules in remote camp life
  • Strong safety awareness and incorporation of HS&E concepts
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
