Job Description

Overview

The Nuna Group of Companies is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Multi Operators for large earthworks construction and mining projects. This role involves operating various heavy equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols in remote locations, offering a unique opportunity for career development in a significant Inuit-owned company.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.
  • Maintain equipment in good operating condition and report maintenance requirements or concerns.
  • Complete production reporting and other required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
  • Operate other heavy equipment as required.
  • Follow all site, company, and client-specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.

Required skills

  • Experience operating Loader, Dozer, Excavator, and Graders in road building, mining, or industrial settings.
  • Ability to work under rotational schedules and in remote camp life.
  • Knowledge of HS&E concepts and a concern for health and safety.
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good safety awareness.
