Job Description

Overview

The Nuna Group of Companies is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Multi Operators for large earthworks construction and mining projects. This role involves working on a rotational schedule, primarily in remote locations across Canada, where safety and effective communication are paramount.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections
  • Complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for activities
  • Maintain equipment in good operating condition
  • Report and log maintenance requirements or concerns
  • Complete production reporting and documentation
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members
  • Operate heavy equipment as required
  • Follow site, company, and client safety protocols, policies, and procedures

Required skills

  • Experience operating Loader, Dozer, Excavator, and Graders
  • Experience in road building, mining, and/or industrial setting
  • Ability to work in rotational schedules and remote camp life
  • Incorporation of HS&E concepts into work activities
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
