Overview

St. Louis County is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform skilled mechanic work related to the diagnosis and repair of trucks and heavy equipment. This position is located at the Richard H. Hansen Public Works and Transportation Complex in Duluth, Minnesota, and involves both fieldwork and shop-based tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair light, medium, and heavy equipment.
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
