Overview

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join their team in La Salle, Michigan. This role involves transporting heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle according to state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and timely while obeying traffic laws
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials
  • Maintain signed invoices and shipping documentation
  • Perform routine service on trucks and report any maintenance issues
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for efficient loading
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur's license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Willingness to travel frequently
