EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join their team in Erie, Michigan. The ideal candidate will help deliver innovative solutions to the construction industry while operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This full-time position involves delivering equipment, assisting with loading and unloading, and maintaining documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle according to state and federal transportation laws.
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials.
  • Maintain signed invoices and shipping documentation.
  • Facilitate routine service and maintenance on trucks.
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading.

Required skills

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle busy environments.
  • Commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur's license.
  • Knowledge of transportation safety and logistics management.
