Overview

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join their team in Luna Pier, Michigan. This role involves delivering heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with transportation laws, and maintaining vehicle performance while working within a supportive, technology-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle according to transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and timely over required routes
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials
  • Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other paperwork
  • Facilitate routine service on trucks
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) or chauffeur's license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and vehicle maintenance
