Overview

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join their team in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. This role involves transporting loads safely and efficiently while complying with all relevant transportation laws and safety regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle in compliance with transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and timely over designated routes
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas as directed
  • Assist with and perform loading and unloading of goods using specialized equipment
  • Maintain required paperwork including invoices and shipping documents
  • Facilitate routine service checks on trucks and report malfunctions
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • CDL Certification (Class A CDL or chauffeur's license)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
