Overview

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL A Driver to join their team in Samaria, Michigan, at their rental facility. This role focuses on transforming the construction industry through innovation and technology while delivering equipment safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will contribute to a people-first culture and be part of a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle in accordance with state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner, obeying all traffic laws
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment
  • Maintain signed invoices and shipping documents
  • Facilitate routine service and maintenance on trucks
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur's license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
