Overview

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join their rental facility in Toledo, OH. This role involves safely transporting equipment, adhering to safety regulations and transportation laws, and contributing to the company's mission of transforming the construction industry through innovative technology and supportive teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and timely over required routes, obeying all traffic laws
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when necessary
  • Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork
  • Facilitate routine service on trucks and report maintenance malfunctions
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur's license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and transportation laws
