Overview

EquipmentShare is looking for a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join their team in Lambertville, Michigan. This role focuses on delivering heavy equipment safely and efficiently while embracing innovative technology and a people-first culture to transform the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle according to transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner
  • Maneuver truck and trailer in loading and unloading areas
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods and materials
  • Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other paperwork
  • Facilitate routine service on trucks and report maintenance issues
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur's license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to focus in a busy environment
  • Pass background and drug testing as required
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Proficiency in safety compliance and logistics management
