Overview

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver in Erie, Michigan, to transport equipment safely and efficiently while contributing to a mission of transforming the construction industry. This full-time position offers opportunities for growth and development within a people-first, technology-driven company.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle in compliance with state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and timely over designated routes
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods and materials
  • Maintain necessary paperwork, including invoices and shipping documents
  • Perform routine vehicle service and report maintenance issues
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns
  • Contribute to other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Class A CDL or chauffeur's license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to focus in a busy environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Safe driving practices and compliance with safety regulations
