EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL A Driver to join their team in La Salle, Michigan. The role involves delivering equipment while ensuring safety and compliance with traffic laws. Key responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle according to state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and timely, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials using specialized equipment
  • Maintain signed invoices and shipping documentation
  • Facilitate routine service on trucks and report maintenance issues
  • Arrange trailers for optimal loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid CDL A license or chauffeur's license
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Understanding of safety regulations and fleet management
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
