Overview

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL A Driver to join their team in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. The role involves transporting heavy equipment safely and timely while adhering to all state and federal transportation laws. This position offers opportunities for growth within a mission-driven work environment that values innovation and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Operates vehicle according to applicable transportation laws
  • Transports loads safely and timely over required routes
  • Maneuvers truck and trailer for loading and unloading
  • Assists with loading and unloading goods and materials
  • Maintains paperwork including invoices and shipping bills
  • Facilitates routine service on trucks and reports malfunctions
  • Arranges trailers for optimum loading patterns
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • CDL A license or chauffeur's license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
