Overview

Jetson Home Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to build and manage safety programs at their fast-growing company focused on sustainable energy solutions. This role presents an opportunity to spark real change by establishing safety as a core part of the company culture while thriving in both field activities and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and manage safety programs from the ground up
  • Design and maintain SOPs for high-risk tasks
  • Translate OSHA regulations into practical guidance
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments
  • Lead root cause analyses for incidents and near-misses
  • Develop and deliver training for onboarding and certifications
  • Serve as Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for OSHA 10 and OSHA 30
  • Build and present safety KPI dashboards to leadership
  • Manage documentation and stay current on OSHA regulations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification
  • Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer (Construction and/or General Industry)
  • 7+ years building and managing safety programs
  • Strong knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 and 1926
  • Experience with job hazard analyses, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
  • Comfortable training large groups and presenting to leadership
  • Experience building safety metrics and dashboards
  • Background in residential construction, HVAC, or utilities
