Overview

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Health Care Administration Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to manage patient interactions and scheduling. This role is critical to ensuring quality patient service and efficient task management in a clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage calls and questions from patients in a timely manner
  • Prioritize calls based on severity of request
  • Provide excellent patient service during interactions
  • Act as an information desk, providing directions and information to patients
  • Schedule return appointments and manage doctor-patient communications
  • Process pharmacy requests and follow up on lab work
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to policies and procedures

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
