Overview

The Head Teller at Partners Bank will oversee the teller line operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory policies and maintaining high service levels. This full-time, on-site role requires proficiency in transaction processing and customer service, along with the ability to supervise and train teller staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Process a variety of transactions accurately on a daily basis
  • Manage the workflow of the teller line and staffing levels
  • Complete cash audits, monthly security reports, and monitor cash levels
  • Assist managers with performance evaluations and documentation
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor teller staff while providing ongoing training
  • Ensure compliance with teller operations procedures and policies
  • Assist tellers with cash discrepancies and customer inquiries
  • Cross sell bank products and services to meet branch goals
  • Maintain a tidy teller line and professional image at all times

Required skills

  • Three years of prior teller or customer service experience
  • Minimum of two years in a Senior Teller or supervisory role
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of teller processes, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to change
  • Proficiency in new account opening processes and cross selling
