This team will be highly focused on the control environment supporting this purpose. To this end, the team will work closely with its critical partner, Investment Operations. The team will look to leverage technology and resource opportunities to ensure and efficient and effective approach to maintaining these processes. Head of Investment Accounting Systems Governance will lead and inspire the team to continue progressing the operations model and function.The ImpactReporting to MassMutual's Head of Investment Controllership, Head of Investment Accounting Governance will be a member of the Investment Controllership leadership team and a key partner and representative to the operational accounting impacts of the investment operations processes.Against the backdrop of an increasingly complex general investment account portfolio with diverse asset classes and strategies, this role will build a framework and lead a vision that provides for the effective controls of operational securities accounting.Lead the team responsible for ensuring effective controls related to the securities operational accounting, including execution of daily and monthly reconciliations, analysis of data exceptions, and support of system upgradesMaintaining control processes and assess improvements by evaluating the end to end impacts to operational securities accountingPartner with teams, including but not limited to Securities Controllership.
