Job Description

Overview

The Advocates, a growing personal injury law firm based in Seattle, is seeking a Head of Intake & Evaluation to lead teams responsible for providing exceptional client experiences from the initial contact through the first 90 days. This leader will manage around 25 team members and focus on optimizing the intake process to ensure clients' needs are met with empathy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and unify front-end, intake, and case evaluation teams for a seamless client experience
  • Own the intake process, setting response-time standards and follow-up cadences
  • Oversee the team handling inbound correspondence and initial case management
  • Direct the evaluation team to gather evidence and manage early case administration
  • Monitor and improve key pipeline metrics like lead response time and client retention
  • Develop and coach team members, including three direct reports
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure effective case progression

Required skills

  • Leadership in high-volume intake or client services
  • Operations and sales or client acquisition experience
  • Data analysis and process improvement skills
  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and teams
  • Legal knowledge and operations experience preferred
