The successful candidate will be the first to hold this senior leadership position, acting as a vital link between the Founders and the Developer team. This role is pivotal in shaping the engineering strategy, team growth, technical vision, and delivery, with a strong emphasis on both strategic leadership and hands-on technical involvement. The Head of Engineering will be responsible for setting the technical standards, unblocking the team, and actively participating in coding and problem-solving. Additionally, the role involves implementing best practices and processes, as well as scaling the engineering team in the near term. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles within a B2B SaaS product company. Experience in scaling engineering teams and a strong technical background in TypeScript/Node.js (NestJS preferred), MongoDB, and the AWS ecosystem are essential.
