Job Description

Overview

As the Head of Creator Technologies at Audible, you will lead the strategy, product, and execution of emerging technologies to enhance creator offerings. This senior leadership role will closely collaborate with Audible's Content organization and Amazon partners to drive innovative solutions for creators and support Audible's catalog expansion goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Define strategy and lead the product lifecycle for emerging creator technologies
  • Champion innovative creator solutions at strategic and tactical levels
  • Manage software development lifecycle and implementation of new features in an Agile environment
  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders across various departments
  • Influence decisions through data-driven business cases
  • Coach and mentor architects and engineers to foster talent and leadership
  • Maintain operational excellence and process improvement metrics
  • Architect and develop innovative technical designs in alignment with product objectives

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 15+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years managing software engineering teams and 3+ years managing multiple managers
  • Experience in designing and coding scalable services
  • Expertise in creating communication strategies for stakeholders
  • Experience with marketing technology stacks and automation programs
  • Familiarity with AWS and customer data platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
