Overview

The Head Cook at French Broad Outpost Ranch leads the Hospitality team, primarily focused on meal preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and lodge areas. This role involves serving three family-style southern meals daily and assisting with room turnovers, as well as providing cross-training support during low seasons.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve 3 family-style southern meals per day
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and lodge area
  • Assist with room turnovers as part of the hospitality team
  • Work a 6 day week during non-summer months and 5.5 days during summer
  • Cross-train to assist with additional duties outside during low seasons
