Responsibilities:As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team, daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as: Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise - Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable - Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror - Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned. - Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters Qualifications: You! People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and team members. Good judgement and a commitment to safety. Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds. Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability. Ability to scream and speak before large groups of people. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations. Ability to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up. Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog. Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. -
