Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a motivated and experienced Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to manage Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) development for a significant program in Naval Air Missiles. This role involves overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful integration and testing of complex systems in a simulated environment, along with managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the HWIL IPT through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee system integration activities within HWIL facilities.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and failure investigation activities.
  • Generate requirements, statements of work, and verification plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals.
  • Define project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Manage risk identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Act as the point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status.
  • Support proposal development for future HWIL projects.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of ten years of relevant experience
  • Integration experience in hardware, software, and/or firmware
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, and MATLAB
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Technical skills in electronics design and systems troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and HWIL architectures
