Overview

As a Hardware Engineer at L3Harris Technologies, you will focus on the architecture, design, and development of next-generation Electronic Safe and Arm Devices. This role demands creativity and innovation in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on FPGA and ASIC design, particularly for defense systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and define architecture for FPGA and microcontroller products
  • Design and debug FPGA hardware and associated firmware
  • Develop Verilog HDL for Antifuse and Flash FPGAs
  • Perform functional analysis and performance profiling in test environments
  • Contribute to process improvements for hardware-firmware quality and time-to-market
  • Engage in C# programming for embedded systems and algorithm development

Required skills

  • Verilog design and implementation
  • System Verilog UVM verification
  • C programming for embedded systems
  • Microcontroller development
  • Experience with Logic Analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG/ICE debuggers
  • Knowledge of design verification, code reviews, and unit testing
  • Familiarity with version control tools like SVN, GIT, or TFS
  • Understanding of digital design practices and HDL languages
