Overview

REGA Gymnastics is seeking an energetic and dependable Gymnastics Coach for their recreational and competitive programs in Hazleton, PA. The role focuses on inspiring young athletes, fostering a positive learning environment, and developing their skills both in and outside the gym.

Key responsibilities

  • Coach athletes in recreational and competitive gymnastics programs
  • Teach proper techniques, skill development, and progression
  • Create a safe, positive, and motivating learning environment
  • Encourage athlete confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Monitor athlete safety and maintain class structure
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and team members
  • Assist with gym setup, organization, and maintaining a clean facility

Required skills

  • Previous gymnastics coaching experience preferred
  • Strong gymnastics or athletic background
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work with children of various ages
  • Dependable, energetic, and team-oriented
  • Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment
  • Ability to demonstrate or assist with gymnastics skills as needed
