Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Description: Summary: To be responsible, under the direction of the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor, for the overall maintenance and care of the grounds, parking areas, and common area facilities so they always stay clean and orderly.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned1. Clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and trim2. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas3. Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors4. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies5. Dust furniture and equipment6. Polish metalwork7. Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork8. Wash windows, door panels, and sills9. Empty wastebaskets and empty/clean ashtrays10. Transport trash and waste to the disposal area11. Replenish bathroom supplies12. Replace light bulbs13. Cut and trim grass and shovel snow14. Deliver messages15. Transport small equipment or tools between departments16.
