Overview

The Grocery Merchandiser at DeJarnett Sales Inc is responsible for merchandising tasks in independently owned grocery stores. This includes new store setups, resets, and product placements, while ensuring that the store displays are organized and appealing to customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Merchandise store shelving according to flow grams
  • Place new items on shelves upon delivery
  • Transport products to and from backroom to shelf locations
  • Keep aisle and shelf maintenance neat and clean during resets
  • Install promotional materials such as signs and banners
  • Maintain back-room stock in an orderly condition
  • Communicate store issues to store managers and company management
  • Build customer relationships at the store level
  • Comply with operating procedures
  • Deliver customer service by attending to customer needs
  • Operate with minimal supervision
