Overview

CAN Community Health is seeking a Grant Support Specialist I to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This full-time role involves providing essential support to Ryan White Contract Managers, ensuring quality assurance and data entry for a variety of services aimed at individuals affected by HIV, Hepatitis C, STIs, and other infectious diseases.

Key responsibilities

  • Support Ryan White Contract Managers with quality assurance audits and data entry for case management and dental services.
  • Promote patient enrollment in the Ryan White clinic program.
  • Assist in preparing monthly invoices for Ryan White Grantees.
  • Compile programmatic encounter reports for accurate billing of services.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality improvement plans as per Ryan White grant guidance.
  • Participate in local Quality Management Committee activities.
  • Engage in local HIV planning activities and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in social services or equivalent public health experience
  • HIV prevention/intervention experience
  • Knowledge of Ryan White eligibility and operations
  • Basic safety and confidentiality training
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle with valid insurance and driver's license
  • Background check clearance
