Job Description

Overview

Cargill is seeking a Grain Production Worker for a seasonal role in Big Stone City, South Dakota. The position involves operations within the Ag & Trading enterprise, where the worker will aid in the loading and unloading of grain and contribute to maintaining safety and efficiency in facility operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform facility operations including loading and unloading trucks and rail cars
  • Fill and reclaim grain ground piles
  • Conduct basic maintenance and operator care of equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Manufacturing operations experience
  • Grain handling knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Strong communication in English (verbal/written)
  • Understanding of safety compliance
  • Equipment maintenance skills
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
