Overview

Cargill is seeking a Grain Production Worker for a seasonal position in Keithsburg, Illinois. The role involves working in Cargill's Agricultural Supply Chain, engaging in tasks related to grain handling and facility operations while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform facility operations such as loading/unloading trucks, vessels, barges, and rail cars
  • Fill/reclaim grain ground piles and carry out various grain handling tasks
  • Conduct basic maintenance and operator care of equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Age of 18 years or older
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Understanding and communication skills in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Capability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
