Dakota Mill and Grain, Inc. is seeking a hardworking and skilled Grain Elevator Operator to join their team in Highmore, South Dakota. This role plays a vital part in the daily operations of the grain elevator facility, focusing on the efficient handling and processing of agricultural commodities and providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Load and unload products from trucks and railcars
  • Weigh and grade incoming and outgoing grain shipments
  • Monitor grain storage conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of grain transactions and inventory
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report malfunctions
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
  • Provide customer service to farmers and suppliers
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming grain
