Overview

The Global Sales Account Executive at Delta Air Lines will manage a defined portfolio of UK accounts in collaboration with Virgin Atlantic. This role involves driving high-yield revenue, building strong customer relationships, and delivering against commercial objectives through strategic engagement and effective account management.

Key responsibilities

  • Jointly manage UK accounts with Virgin Atlantic to increase revenue and market share.
  • Maintain strong business relationships and develop objectives aligned to shared goals.
  • Support performance optimization through data analysis and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Facilitate training for partner sales teams and communicate relevant updates.
  • Assist in contract preparation, negotiation, implementation, and management.
  • Use CRM tools to maintain customer data and track account activity.
  • Represent Delta at customer and industry events.

Required skills

  • Minimum of three years in industry sales and commercial experience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business decision-making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and negotiation.
  • Skilled in sales performance drivers and identifying market opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Extensive travel capability within the region, Europe, and the U.S.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Valid UK driving license.
