Overview

The Global Process Owner (GPO) role focuses on leading the governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of global Source-to-Pay processes following a major ERP transformation. This position emphasizes process standardization and operational excellence to maximize the value of the company's ERP platform.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and govern end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes globally
  • Drive process standardization, compliance, and operational consistency across regions
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics
  • Manage process exceptions and support governance decision-making
  • Lead initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, compliance, and user experience
  • Maintain global process documentation and standards
  • Evaluate process changes and assess business impacts
  • Promote adoption of ERP best practices and standard functionality
  • Partner with business leaders, functional teams, and regional stakeholders
  • Influence adoption of standardized processes and operating models
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on process strategy and performance
  • Support change management and organizational readiness efforts
  • Review and approve process enhancements and change requests
  • Escalate strategic risks and decisions through governance channels
  • Drive process maturity, operational excellence, and transformation initiatives

Required skills

  • Experience owning and improving end-to-end Source-to-Pay, Procurement, or ERP-enabled business processes
  • Strong understanding of process governance, KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership in a global environment
  • Experience supporting ERP platforms, ideally Oracle Fusion, SAP, or similar enterprise systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
