This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop your skills, learn industry best practices, and grow within a reputable company dedicated to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.Feel free to walk in to apply at 8320 Quarry Road Manassas, VA 20110 (Monday - Friday 9 am - 4pm) Key Responsibilities:- Assist experienced glaziers and glass installers in measuring and installing glass and related materials- Prepare work sites by cleaning, setting up tools, glass, and ensuring safety protocols are followed- Handle and transport glass panels carefully to prevent damage- Support the installation of Hardware, doors, mirrors, storefronts, curtainwall, and specialty glass- Follow instructions and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any issues- Learn and adhere to industry standards and building codesSkills and Qualifications:- Willingness to learn and develop skills in glass installation and glazing- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials- Attention to detail and safety consciousness- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required- Valid driver's license is required-Must be able to drive to various job site in the DC metro area or meet with partner to carpool in company vanWe foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where apprentices can develop their expertise and advance their careers.
