Overview

The Glassblower - Events position at Glassybaby LLC in Seattle involves creating engaging glassblowing experiences for clients as part of a part-time role. The ideal candidate will teach and demonstrate glassblowing techniques while ensuring safety and quality in the Hot Shop environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate glassblowing techniques and maintain high quality in production
  • Work with events staff to create memorable experiences for clients
  • Provide instruction and guidance to clients on glassblowing
  • Prepare and clean the event space before and after sessions
  • Communicate clearly with clients about the glassblowing process
  • Provide regular feedback to management
  • Maintain event procedures for each session

Required skills

  • 6 years of glassblowing experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
