Overview

Glassybaby LLC is seeking a skilled Glassblower to join their production team in Livingston, Montana. The role involves contributing to the creation of various glass items in a collaborative team setting, with responsibilities varying by experience level in the glassblowing process.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform pre-heating of color rods and manage color box during shifts
  • Create start bubbles in molten glass and overlay colors
  • Shape molten glass and prepare molded shapes for production
  • Trim and finish glass items to appropriate sizes and shapes
  • Lead team members and ensure proper production pace and quality

Required skills

  • Experience as a glassblower or in a related trade
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in high noise, hot, and cold environments
  • Proficient verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently
