Position SummaryOdyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced GFE Manager to support a United States Air Force Systems Program Office at Lackland AFB, TX. The selected candidate will provide technical and managerial expertise in acquisition management and the accountability of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Software (GFS), Special Tooling (ST), Special Test Equipment (STE), Government Furnished Information (GFI), Government Furnished Material (GFM), and Government Furnished Facilities (GFF).ResponsibilitiesIn this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.Duties include, but not limited to:Define requirements and evaluate GFP/GFE documents including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Technical Evaluations, and Source Selection materials.Interface with government agencies to coordinate the use of test facilities or the provision of GFE assets in support of program objectives.Assist in the procurement or loan of GFE materials/assets to support system development and fielding.Develop and maintain databases to accurately track all DD-1149 forms and other accountability documents related to GFP/GFE.Collaborate with program teams to generate contractual documentation related to the acquisition, disposition, or repair of GFE assets.Ensure compliance with applicable FAR, DFARS, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) policies regarding GFP, GFE, and related materials.Provide FIAR reports and readiness assessments to leadership in preparation for Inspector General (IG), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), or other audit agency reviews.QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Must have an Active Top Secret ClearanceEducation: Bachelor's degree in a relevant fieldYears of Experience: 10+ years of experience in asset/property management or acquisition support, 3+ years of direct experience supporting DoD.Familiarity with Air Force Systems Program Offices and A&AS contracting environmentPreferred QualificationsClearance: TS/SCIEducation: Master's degree in Business, Logistics, or related fieldYears of experience: 15+ years of directly related experience, with 5+ years supporting DoD programsCertifications:DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management or Life Cycle LogisticsFIAR-related training or certificationTechnical SkillsProficiency with GFP/GFE accountability systems and documentation (e.g., DD-1149)Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and FIAR regulationsExperience with contract support documentation and acquisition lifecycle trackingFamiliarity with asset databases and integrated property tracking toolsInterpersonal SkillsStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across functional teamsSkilled in interfacing with multiple stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and leadershipAdditional InformationLocation: Lackland AFB, TXTravel: May be required at the discretion of the customerOnsiteCompany OverviewOdyssey Systems Consulting Group, is an innovative small business committed to providing world-class technical, management, and training support services to government and public sector clients.
