Overview

The Geriatrics Physician Assistant at Amergis Locum Tenens will provide direct and indirect primary care to PACE participants aged 55 and older in Oceanport, NJ. This locum position involves a typical patient volume of 7 to 10 patients per day and may include home or facility visits, with occasional travel for training.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct primary care to PACE participants aged 55+
  • Manage a patient volume of 7 to 10 patients per day
  • Conduct 1 to 3 home or facility visits per week
  • Occasional travel for onboarding and training
  • Participate in on-call duties every 3rd week

Required skills

  • Board Certified
  • NJ License
  • DEA required
  • BLS required
  • 1 to 2 years of recent primary care PA experience
  • Experience treating patients age 55+
  • Experience with frail/elderly population preferred
