Job Description

Overview

The Geologist/Hydrogeologist III position at C.T. Male Associates primarily involves performing office work to complete various environmental site assessments and geologic investigations. The role allows for flexibility with remote work up to 50% of the time.

Key responsibilities

  • Compile and evaluate technical data for environmental projects
  • Assist in the preparation of remedial investigation work plans and reports
  • Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, regulatory agents, and clients
  • Coordinate drilling, surveying, and laboratory services
  • Conduct aquifer testing and evaluation including drilling oversight
  • Prepare field activity reports and relay data interpretations to the project management team

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related discipline
  • 5-10 years of relevant environmental experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Valid driver's license
  • NYS Fundamentals of Geology (FG) license (preferred)
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Surfer, Win-Situ, AQTESOLV, ArcGIS, Collector, and EQuIS data management (preferred)
