Overview

The General Site Superintendent at The Probst Group LLC is responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring they run on schedule and within budget. This role requires close coordination with contractors, clients, and internal teams at various job sites, typically moving every 8-12 months based on project needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Relocate to job site for project duration while supporting multiple projects
  • Verify contractor work completion according to project design during construction
  • Inspect and document Probst-purchased equipment and manage project documents
  • Ensure compliance with site-specific health and safety programs
  • Confirm project schedule with management and address delays
  • Maintain partnerships with contractors and support engineering staff
  • Establish site office and equipment storage area on-site

Required skills

  • 5+ years of construction supervision experience
  • 5+ years full-cycle industrial construction experience
  • 10+ years of experience using Microsoft Office
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Ability to learn Probst Group CRM and ERP systems
  • Understanding of construction documents including contracts and drawings
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
