Overview

The General Service Technician at Heartland Tire Inc. is responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire pressure evaluations. This role involves providing excellent customer service and making recommendations to the Service Manager regarding necessary parts and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide helpful and respectful customer service
  • Change oil and transmission fluid and filters
  • Evaluate tire pressure and ensure proper inflation
  • Recommend tires, parts, and services to the Service Manager
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Cross train in other areas as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
