Overview

Ethan Conrad Properties, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for its Merced location. The role involves overseeing the marketing, management, and profitability of a mall property and four additional retail properties, ensuring they meet the organization’s goals. The General Manager will lead on-site teams, manage financial metrics, vendor services, and address tenant concerns while working closely with the EVP of Property Management.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage property financial metrics including budgets, tenant compliance reporting, and expense reporting.
  • Supervise on-site teams to meet operational objectives in marketing and promotions.
  • Manage vendor services and relationships to maximize value for tenants.
  • Resolve tenant and customer issues effectively.
  • Develop systems to improve tenant satisfaction and internal efficiencies.
  • Oversee staff training and development programs.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent
  • 10 years of progressive property management experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Real Estate Agent License (preferred)
  • 7 years of commercial real estate experience (preferred)
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
