Overview

General ManagerThe General Manager for Azzurra, serves as the trusted advisor to the Board of Directors and oversees all day-to-day operations of a luxury high rise residential community. The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years of HOA high rise onsite management, advanced project management expertise, deep financial acumen, and the proven ability to navigate complex issues, including litigation, structural defects, and multi-million-dollar budgets.Compensation: up to $190k depending upon experience + comprehensive benefits packageSchedule: Monday -Friday business hours; available for evening board meetings and special events.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and direction for all building operations, resident services, and onsite staff.Serve as the Board's primary advisor, offering clear guidance, sound judgment, and well-reasoned recommendations.Manage operating and reserve budgets exceeding $7 million, ensuring financial integrity, forecasting accuracy, and effective cost controls.Oversee capital improvement projects, vendor management, and long-term planning initiatives.Lead responses to HOA litigation, construction/structural defect matters, and other legal or technical issues as they arise.Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with residents, board members, vendors, and community partners.Identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and risk mitigation.Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing onsite team.What We're Looking ForExperienced Leader: Proven success managing large or complex residential communities, ideally high-rise, luxury, or hospitality environments.Financial Expert: Strong financial management skills with experience overseeing large budgets ($7M+).Project Management Pro: Extensive experience coordinating complex capital projects, repairs, and long-term planning.Litigation-Savvy: Background in HOA litigation, construction defects, and legal processes affecting common interest communities.Critical Thinker: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.People-Oriented: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, influence, and build lasting relationships.Trusted Advisor: Professional presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with boards and stakeholders.Designation: Minimum of a CMCA.
