Overview

Sonnys BBQ is seeking a General Manager for their Tifton, Georgia location who will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and effective restaurant operations. The position requires a strong leadership presence, focused on hiring, training, and developing team members while cultivating a professional atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate hourly team members.
  • Provide support and guidance to assistant managers and staff.
  • Execute and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Report operational information to the Area Director.
  • Maintain a safe and engaging work environment.
  • Respond to immediate store needs.

Required skills

  • Restaurant management experience (minimum two years)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret operational documents
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds as needed
