Overview

The General Manager at The Parking Spot is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a facility, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service while managing a team. Key responsibilities

  • Oversees the physical condition and appearance of the facility and fleet
  • Monitors employee performance for prompt attendance and task completion
  • Interviews, hires, and trains employees for their respective responsibilities
  • Ensures consistent delivery of hospitality standards
  • Manages customer service issues effectively
  • Enforces company policies and procedures
  • Maintains DOT compliance for shuttles including certifications and operational improvements
  • Accountable for overall profit/loss for managed properties
  • Supervises assistant manager(s) and support staff
  • Monitors and controls expenses
  • Prepares annual market budget
  • Communicates with Regional Vice President and Corporate personnel
  • Complies with all applicable regulations governing commercial vehicle operations
  • Performs additional duties as requested by Management

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of management experience
  • Direct supervisory experience
  • Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills for data gathering and report summarization
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary commercial vehicle licenses
  • Willingness to pass a physical examination as required
