Overview

Transdev is seeking a General Manager in Modesto, CA who will oversee all aspects of operations, contract management, and safety compliance within the transportation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and developing effective action plans for improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle all contractual services, including operations, administrative functions, and information systems
  • Provide oversight of safety, training, and maintenance departments
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve operational efficiencies
  • Maintain company and contractual assets including vehicles and facilities
  • Analyze, prepare, and develop budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote effective communication with customers
  • Provide leadership and guidance to develop team capabilities
  • Meet client, corporate, and contractual reporting requirements
