Overview

Trademasters Services is looking for a skilled General Maintenance Worker to support GSA distribution warehouse facilities in Springfield, VA. The role involves performing routine maintenance tasks across various areas of the warehouse, requiring a reliable professional who values safety and quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment
  • Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and work areas to identify maintenance needs
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs of building structures, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC systems
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
  • Document completed work and respond to facility service requests
  • Support emergency maintenance activities as needed

Required skills

  • 2-5 years of general or facilities maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair common facility issues
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of safety compliance
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
