Marriott International is seeking a General Maintenance professional located in Vancouver, BC. This role encompasses responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring a high standard of service and safety within the hotel's facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen equipment.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
  • Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical components, and general equipment.
  • Adhere to safety and security policies and report maintenance problems.
  • Welcome and assist guests according to company standards.
  • Perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
