Overview

Dimar Manufacturing is seeking a General Laborer for their shop in Clarence, New York. This role involves a variety of physical tasks including cleaning, organizing materials, and assisting in machine shop activities, specifically in metal fabrication and finishing.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in cleaning and organizing parts and materials
  • Operate metal fabricating and finishing equipment
  • Fit, assemble, and repair subassemblies and major assemblies
  • Record job activities and maintain accurate part counts
  • Communicate with co-workers and supervisors for instructions
  • Inspect parts to meet quality requirements
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean workstation
  • Drive forklift to transport materials as needed
